An Other Magazine

Article - May 14, 2019

For the latest issue of AnOther Magazine, photographer William Waterworth and stylist Reuben Esser came together to create a unique fashion story which captures Paul Smith’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection on a cast of intriguing individuals. It’s a diverse group that includes the actor, performer and poet Lily Ashley; the multidisciplinary performer Hugo Hamlet; the visual graphic artist Stephen Anthony Davids; the artists Miya Browne and Ranald Macdonald; and the drag queen Lavinia Co-op. Alongside this story, Joel Kerr made a short film titled The Others, in which these figures come to life, speaking on their life, work and inspirations, and dancing and moving to music by Truckstar and Hamlet himself. Watch the film below.
